Bill Auvenshine Memorial Tournament
My two children have been training at Auvenshine’s Taekwondo all the way from supertots class to their current rank of red belt. The biggest growth isn’t about belt rank though. They learn self control, both physically and mentally. As higher ranks, they learn to help younger children and put their needs before their own. I’m very impressed with the amount of patience they show, but it’s only by example. Mrs. Auvenshine has the perfect balance of discipline and grace. My husband and I have also been training at Auvenshine’s Taekwondo nearly as long as our children. Everyone is very friendly and we welcome newcomers of all skill levels. You have the opportunity to get as much out of your training as you desire, through time in class to competitions. I wouldn’t choose anywhere else!

As a parent of a special needs kiddo, we couldn’t be more pleased with Auvenshine’s School of Tae Kwon Do. We were looking for a program that would teach our son self discipline but also self confidence. Patty and the other Black Belt instructors have worked with our son on not only his Tae Kwon Do skills, but social skills as well. He has learned how to handle himself better in situations when trying new things. I know he appreciates how structured the classes are. This environment makes it easier for him to learn and focus. We are continually impressed by what all he has learned!
